the company represents and stands for far more then just a motorcycle manufacturer.
The name, Harley Davidson, is world renowned as a symbol of freedom and lifestyle and
has become without a doubt, a US icon. Harley Davidson cycles have set the standard by
witch not only our parents, but also our grandparents have judged the motorcycle industry.
The company dates back to 1903, where in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the founders went to work
in a 10 x 15-foot wooden shed with the words "Harley-Davidson Motor Company" crudely scrawled
on the door. Today, that very same company has secured its place as the hugely successful
international trend and market leader, selling well over 300,000 motorcycles per year.
In spite of Harley's popularity, the bikes have never been mass produced or lost their individuality.
